The Diverse Aura River (Monimuotoinen Aurajoki) project focused on teaching sustainable development related to water ecosystems in elementary schools. The project produced and updated teaching materials that support the exploration of aquatic environments and the surrounding ecosystem. This includes:
- Updating existing materials: Improving current resources and adding up-to-date information.
- Creating Water Backpacks: Assembling ready-to-use teaching kits for exploring water quality and riparian environments.
- Pilot river visits for schools: Practical teaching events targeting elementary schools.
Material and Accessibility:
The materials produced in the project are designed to be durable and are freely available to everyone without restrictions.
